Prestige Microwave Oven Error codes

Error Code Description Cause Solution
E1 / E2 Temperature Sensor Error Faulty temperature sensor or overheating. Turn off the oven and unplug it. Allow the microwave to cool down for a few minutes, then plug it back in. If the error persists, it may need sensor replacement.
E3 Door Not Closed Properly Door is not fully closed or has a defective latch. Open and close the door firmly. Check for obstructions around the latch. If the error remains, the door latch assembly might need repair.
E4 Power Supply Issue Inconsistent or insufficient power supply. Make sure the oven is plugged into a dedicated power outlet and not an extension cord. Check for any loose connections or voltage fluctuations. If the issue continues.
E5 Communication Failure Internal control board malfunction. Unplug the microwave, wait a few minutes, and plug it back in. If the error does not clear.
E6 Magnetron Overheating The magnetron, which heats the microwave, has overheated. Turn off the oven and let it cool down. Ensure the air vents are not blocked. If the problem persists, the magnetron might require replacement.
E7 Humidity Sensor Malfunction Humidity sensor is faulty or clogged. Wipe any condensation or debris around the sensor. If that doesn’t help, the sensor may need replacement.
E8 Turntable Motor Error The turntable motor is jammed or defective. Remove any heavy or unevenly placed items on the turntable. Ensure it spins freely. If it’s stuck or still not working, consult for motor replacement.
E9 Fan Failure Cooling fan is not working properly. Ensure the microwave vents are clean and unobstructed. If the fan still isn’t functioning, you may need a technician to replace it.

If any error codes reappear frequently or do not clear after following these steps, it’s recommended to contact Prestige customer support or a qualified repair technician.
