Step 1: Create a Samsung Account

To use Bixby in your Samsung refrigerator, you need to create a Samsung account. Follow these steps:

• On your mobile device, download the SmartThings app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
• Open the SmartThings app and tap “Sign Up”.
• Fill in your email address and create a password.
• Follow the prompts to complete your account creation.
• Check your email for a verification link and click it to verify your account.

Once verified, you can log in using your Samsung account credentials.

Step 2: Connect Your Samsung Refrigerator

Now that you have a Samsung account, follow these steps to connect your refrigerator:

• Make sure your refrigerator is powered on and connected to your Wi-Fi network.
• Open the SmartThings app on your mobile device.
• Tap the “+” icon to add a device.
• Select “Add Device” and choose “Refrigerator” from the list.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your refrigerator to the SmartThings app.

Step 3: Set Up Bixby Voice Commands

Once your refrigerator is connected, you can set up Bixby voice commands:

• Ensure your refrigerator has Bixby capability. Refer to your user manual for details.
• To activate Bixby, simply say “Hi Bixby” or press the Bixby button on your refrigerator’s display.
• Use commands like:
• “Hi Bixby, what’s the temperature in the fridge?”
• “Hi Bixby, set the refrigerator to 34 degrees.”
• “Hi Bixby, remind me to check the expiration dates in a week.”

Step 4: Test Bixby Voice Commands

To ensure Bixby is working correctly, test the voice commands:

• With the refrigerator on and Bixby activated, speak one of the commands mentioned above.
